Wealthsimple
Wealthsimple supports email alerts for both Cash accounts. Follow this guide to set up automatic transaction syncing with Skwad.
Enable Email Alerts
Wealthsimple Cash
- Update your Wealthsimple notification settings through the Wealthsimple app or on web
- Go to Settings → Notifications
- Enable the following alerts:
- Withdrawals
- Deposits
- Make sure Email is selected as the notification method
Forward to Skwad
Once email alerts are enabled, you'll receive notifications from [email protected]
.
Now set up forwarding to send these alerts to your Skwad scan email address:
- Gmail users: Follow the Gmail Forwarding guide
- Proton Mail users: Follow the Proton Mail Forwarding guide
- iCloud Mail users: Follow the iCloud Mail Forwarding guide
Filter Criteria
Use these criteria when setting up your forwarding rule:
- From:
[email protected]
- Subject contains:
deposit
ORwithdrawal
Troubleshooting
Not receiving email alerts
Check that:
- Email notifications are enabled in Wealthsimple app settings
- Your email address is verified in Wealthsimple
- Check your spam folder for alerts
Transactions not appearing in Skwad
- Verify your forwarding rule is set up correctly
- Make sure you're forwarding emails from
[email protected]
- Test by making a small transaction and checking if the alert arrives in Skwad
