Welcome to Skwad! You may have noticed that things look a bit different from other budgeting apps. Skwad never asks for your bank usernames or passwords. We won't need them to sync your transactions or account balances as you'll soon see.

How Skwad Works

Most banks and financial services send out email alerts or mobile notifications every time you make a purchase or get a deposit. Skwad extracts transaction information such as the payee and amount, all you have to do is get them to Skwad. Don't worry, you won't have to manually send each alert to Skwad. We'll automate this in the next step.
