Signing (& Credit Cards)
Skwad signs transactions from your perspective. This means negative (-) when you spend money (DEBIT) and positive (+) when you make it (CREDIT). This is also how most budget apps sign your transactions.
Desktop Table
The transactions table allows you to view and edit transactions quickly. Here are some tips.
Categories
Skwad gives you complete control over your categories. You can create new parent categories "(P)" as well as subcategories. Transactions can be tagged with either the parent or a subcategory.
Tags
Tags help you organize your transactions across categories.
Splitting
You can split transactions by line items or by total.
Search
Try advanced queries in the search bar. Search queries match against transaction names, memos, and line items.
Duplicates
You can find the duplicates tool on both web and mobile. Clicking Duplicates filters for duplicates and automatically groups them for you.
Merchants
Merchants represent the businesses and entities behind your transactions. Skwad automatically assigns merchants when transactions are imported.
Recurring Transactions
Skwad will automatically find and group your recurring transactions after the third charge. The recurring page gives you a financial dashboard view of all your recurring expenses and income.
